A Bit About Me

In my 15 years experience as a qualified teacher, teaching from Nursery to Year 6, my passion for teaching
the new generation has continued to grow. Over the years, I have led as SENDCO (where I supported diverse learning), honed my leadership skills for 5 years as a Deputy Headteacher and, most recently, I served as a Headteacher for 2 years, guiding my school community towards excellence in learning and development.
Now, the next stage of my journey begins: setting up my own tutoring business where I can tailor-teach to
the needs of my tutees using the skills I have learnt as a teacher and a leader!
My Experience

During this period of time, I worked as a class teacher in Year 2, Year 5 and Year 6. I quickly progressed to a Phase Leader (overseeing teaching and learning in six classes) and then onto an Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for a whole Primary School.
I was offered the role of Deputy Headteacher at an 'Inadequate' school with the remit of turning the school around. I gained experience teaching and leading in Nursery, Reception and Year 1 and also took on the role of SENDCo. During my years as Deputy Headteacher, I worked tirelessly with the staff to move the school from 'Inadequate' to 'Good'. After 5 years as a Deputy Headteacher, I was promoted to Head of School.
After relocating to Mudeford, I was offered the role of Principal at a local school. During my time at this school, we have been recommended for an 'Outstanding' grade by Ofsted!
My tutoring business launches!
